The Man with the Bones has a great review of Superman Returns. This part just made me chuckle:
...In other instances, he weedily floats, bobs and slides around on his stomach as if he’s the asthmatic kid learning to swim on a tummy-board. Un-super in my opinion...
All in all a very well written and balanced review. I'm not a huge movie theatre guy (although I have recently enjoyed a few more courtesy of my daughter - think Wallace & Grommit, Chicken Little etc..), but Superman may be enough for me to lay down the obscene casheesh that it requires to see a movie these days. At least by the sounds of it.
